Crema Outdoor was founded in 1890 in Montagnana, a small village in North-East of Italy. What began as a small rain umbrella factory evolved over a century into a high-quality atelier leader in the Italian umbrella market. Brothers, Lorenzo and Alessandro Crema are the fifth generation who picked up the family artisanal legacy and they have been carrying it on with passion and innovation spirit.

In the 1990s the brothers relaunched Crema with a new vision and focus on beach umbrellas for professional use in hotels and seaside sector. The company grew but small spaces limited the production especially of maxi umbrellas, which were designed inside the company, but assembled by third parties in the nearby area.

Flash forward 35 years to 2015, Crema moved to a state of the art, modern facility with cutting edge technology.  Today they are a global, innovative, ISO 9001-certified company whose goal is to supply our hospitality and commercial clients with professional high quality beach umbrellas, gazebos, and accessories. With their global expansion, they now have a North American headquarters and warehouse in Montreal, Canada.  Their products are characterized by a simple and timeless Italian design engineered to endure and priced to compete.
