Pronounced (YAH-noo), Yanou studio was born from a deep passion for nature and a commitment to timeless biophilic design principles that have inspired artists and designers since the first vessels were crafted many generations ago. Named to honor a new beginning, yanou represents our collaborative relationship with the natural world and offers a new perspective for living in harmony with nature. 

 

Meticulously crafted by hand in North Carolina using techniques that stand the test of time, Yanou planters are designed specifically to withstand the rigors of the hospitality industry. Using a two-part process called Conclay™, each planter is fully hand-made. The Conclay process starts with two layers of fiber-reinforced concrete which are then cured. This is followed by an application of two layers of imported Belgian clay. The concrete layer is incredibly strong and able to withstand the most challenging climates and rigorous hospitality settings.  The outer clay layer provides enhanced moisture retention with a beautiful organic aesthetic. Taken together, a Yanou planter is stunning yet durable piece of art guaranteed to perform in extreme conditions.

 

Yanou’s inline beautiful inline collections are diverse, with sizes that can be customized and an array of earthy colors to choose from.  Additionally, with just a minimum quantity of 4, they are can accommodate full custom shapes and sizes. Whether inline or custom, each piece is made to order with  standard lead times of just 5 weeks (plus shipping).
